I am a M to F transsexual. I have been on HRT for 4 years. I have decided to get an orchidectomy in order to reduce my medication. I have researched orchidectomies extensively. Through my research I have found one article in which the subject of an orchidectomy claims to have lost bladder control.
Is this a usual or unusal side-effect of an orchidectomy?

Thanks for writing! Loss of bladder control is a very unusual side effect of an orchiectomy, but it is one that is mentioned by urologists. Consult your surgeon for more information.
