I was pleased to see the article on self medication in your recent publication; self-medication is, sometimes, a trans-person’s only recourse, and the right information can make a big difference.

I have only recently had access to injectible testosterone. Prior to that I used a prohormone, 4-androstenediol,17 and had quite satisfactory results which did not impact negatively upon my health.
