Diet Update!

In the last issue of Trans-Health, Mistress Krista and I discussed my diet plan. I thought it might be time to update you on my progress. One reader was so anxious after the last issue was published that she emailed me and demanded an update. Here’s the absolute latest!

I have lost about 20 lbs since starting the diet. In addition, I have lost about a percentage point of body fat, which takes me down to 19%. Curiously, my fat distribution continues to change, though the change is (to me, anyway) agonizingly slow. I now have fat on my hips, butt, thighs and arms that I did not have before. I seem to be losing fat in two significant places: my upper back and my abdomen. I have lost almost two inches from my waist, about an inch from the chest measurement below my breasts, and my hips have grown marginally. The largest size loss has been in my legs, which is unfortunate because my legs used to be fabulously curvy and muscular. Oh well, whatcha gonna do?

Most excitingly, my boobies are still growing! The last time I measured, I was firmly into B cup territory. It’s been almost two years since I have been on hormones and things are still chugging along. I am quite happy with this development.

My diet over the last three months has been less severe (and, let’s be honest, less consistent) than it was six months ago. Instead of eating 8x my bodyweight in calories, I am eating 11-12x bodyweight. The rate of fat loss has slowed considerably, but my personal happiness has increased quite a bit. What can I say? I like food.

I have changed my workout schedule again, too. I am still lifting weights, using a new progrem that Mistress Krista designed for me. I lift twice a week, and my workouts are centred around 5 sets of 5 reps of a large compound movement (power snatch to overhead squat; front squat to overhead press) plus a couple of ancillary movements, including a groovy but complicated twist exercise that we should probably film and demonstrate because I look so cool doing it.

Let’s hear it for summer in the city! Thanks to the gorgeous weather and the fact that I live in the centre of the universe, I have also increased the amount of cardio exercise that I do every week. I cycle 20-25 minutes round trip to work every weekday, and usually take at least one 45 minute bike ride on the weekend. I am taking a new martial art at which I am no good but which I am enjoying. Once or twice a week I am teaching Raverdyke-Fu to the Mistress; it is a pragmatic combination of all of the various martial arts I have learned throughout my life. (We are having a good time hitting each other with sticks and otherwise kicking ass.)

Over the summer I plan to take up a new sport, too: I will likely play soccer once a week.

More important to me than weight loss is my personal health and fitness. Taking charge of my diet and activities, and deliberately improving both my eating and exercise habits, has made a drastic difference in how I feel, both physically and mentally. Working out and eating right is the best thing I have ever done. I highly recommend it! 🙂
